I was reading a food blog the other day and came upon the ever-so-weird geoduck clam. I think this is by far one of the strangest looking (and grossest) specimen in the clam family...and people actually eat this! I mean...I know I eat strange things, but I can't imagine preparing this in the kitchen. The thought of slicing into it makes me want to puke just thinking about it! I think it should be called the geodong clam for obvious reasons.

| Imagine coming across this while strolling on the beach. These are 1000's of geoduck clams clinging to a rotting log awaiting to be washed back to sea. |
