La bonne vie at La Belle Vie!

After one of the busiest weeks I've had in a long time, the much anticipated dinner I hosted at La Belle Vie for my friends Rachel & Rick arrived just in time to rejuvenate me. This was a "Thank You" dinner I decided to throw honoring them for their support and friendship shown to me during the past 6 months. Although I have many other people to thank in due time, I have to say these two played a bigger role on a daily basis in keeping me afloat. Whether it was driving my car-less butt around, loaning me cash or lending an ear for when I needed to vent about my case with EDD...they are the best friends a girl could ask for!

I picked them up in a black stretch limo...ha ha! I know...ridiculous, but hey - I didn't ask for a limo! I originally rented a Town Car, but due to last minute planning and fleet availability - this is all they had. It was pretty funny though. We had the Tasting Menu along w/ a goat cheese salad,  bouillabaisse and some very awesome drinks by their renowned mixologist.  The photo of me above is the first course of scallops, beets and foie gras...delicious!

It feels great to be able to thank them both and show my appreciation for all they've done for me. Thanks again you guys! Here's to many more awesome dinners!
