If you read my previous post titled "It's Fashion, it doesn't have to make sense!" you would remember my adoration towards Louis Vuitton's couture bunny ears. I haven't been able to make it to a fabric store to make my own, not to mention penciling in the allotted time on my packed calendar that would be needed to create said bunny ears.However....(horns please) Presenting: my super fun and huge bow-tie head band! I found this gem while perusing Forever 21's black and gold costume jewelry. This teenage girl was trying it on for laughs while her friend looked on and made fun of her -- all the while I was giving her the hairy eye-ball and impatiently thinking "hurry up and put it down you stupid little tween!" Clearly, she wasn't seeing the serious couture potential in this $5.80 head band.
She finally discarded it and I sheepishly grabbed it, immediately paid and left in a hurry with my new head piece. Come on...you have to admit it's pretty freaking adorable.
