A view out my window as the blizzard comes down.
If you've been following the weather, which is a very popular topic and hobby here in Minnesota, we've had record snowfall for the month of December. A blizzard hit on December 11th as you'll see in the video above and a week later, we got another 4 inches or so. At the end of the month, it was recorded we received 33.4" of snow statewide! They've called 5 or 6 snow emergencies in one month and for the first time in 8 years, I put on snow pants and shoveled snow for about 2 hours. This is now my second winter season and although it is mighty cold here, it hasn't gotten to me yet. If you choose to live here, you have to make the most of it right?
This is a video of my neighborhood after the storm. |
My back porch covered in white fluffy snow.
A silhouette of Dylan against my big picture window as the blizzard wanes on outside.
Someone's car outside getting hit hard by snow drifts.
A snow angel is in order the day after on what should be a sidewalk beneath me.
