Don't Worry, Be Happy

I'm happy to report I'm feeling a lot better in this post compared to my last! Writing has always been very therapeutic for me, so even when I feel a bit remorseful for venting via my blog I remember how much better I feel after letting it out. I try my best to remain accountable for my half in relationships and always marvel at how much effort it takes for 2 human beings to be together! It's astounding sometimes isn't it? It certainly is true when they say relationships take work. Navigating whether or not a person is worth your time, love and energy in order for you to want to do the work is a whole different story though. We're all guilty at one time or another for taking our partners/boyfriends/girlfriends for granted, but as long as you can communicate your feelings openly and honestly and feel like you're heard and valued...that's all you can hope for. So on that note -- if you're in a relationship, my best advice I can give is to value the time you have with each other, live in the present and don't be afraid to open your heart (to someone that deserves it of course!). You deserve to be happy and feel adored!
