It's still SUMMER!

I have been a bad blogger this Summer! Sorry readers. It's namely due to the fact that June was pretty jam packed for me as it was our 2nd annual Sound Unseen Duluth film + music festival from June 8th-12th and then the week following I left for a 2 week vacation to the East Coast starting in Columbus, OH for a wedding, visiting my family in Pennsylvania and ending in NYC. Phew! I just got back home very late last night and have a lot of catching up to do, but I promise I will update this blog in the coming days.

In the meantime, enjoy an updated photo series of my urban upper deck garden. Everything is actually doing pretty well, minus my Thai Pepper plants that I doused with some homemade pesticide that killed said pests...but also wilted my plants. Boo! It's been really awesome seeing everything sprout -- I've already made use of some of it (making salad with my mescaline, trimming mint for cocktails and using cilantro for pretty much everything). I'm currently growing tomatoes, green beans, green onions, lemongrass, watermelon, pumpkins, kale, peppers and tons of herbs. I'll continue to snap photos of my garden's progress. Be back soon!
