This isn't quite my idea of a dream vacation, but it is rather up my alley in terms of "hey, you only live once...why the hell not?" Would you say this is a destination experience or one that you just happen to come upon? I suppose it depends on the person. For me personally, it's the latter. I can definitely think of many other places and spaces to spend $295/night on and I can safely say that it'd be spent some place warmer!
But you've gotta appreciate the campiness of it all right? I mean, imagine if your loved one sprung this surprise on you for Valentine's Day. I'd die of laughter, but be incredibly delighted that he/she was so crazy and spontaneous. This particular igloo hotel is nestled in
Zermatt, which is near the Swiss Alps and upon looking at their calendar, they have WIDE OPEN availability for the entire month. Ha ha! BRRRRRR man!
