So, let's be clear. I'm not a fanatical Astrology zealot of any kind -- I don't check and see if Mercury is in retrograde before signing important documents or making life-changing decisions. I don't see if Mars is ruling my third planet before planning a trip. However, about 4 years ago, I was introduced to Susan Miller, a NYC-based Astrologist. Its changed how I've looked at this ancient belief that the cosmos and terrestrial matters are intertwined. I'm sorry, but it is a bit hard for me to ignore astrology's history -- the earliest extant Babylonian astrology text is the Enuma Anu Enlil (literally meaning "When the gods Anu and Enlil..."), dating back to 1600 B.C. This text describes various astronomical omens and their application to national and political affairs.
Taken from the internet, I wholeheartedly agree with this assessment of Susan Miller: "Astrology for the masses. A personalized, human, way of looking at the stars and predicting future trends. A warm, caring way of writing. A non-technical way of presenting technical astrological information. Guarding you from evil, edging you to better days. Here is Susan Miller for you, eminent astrologer and columnist, author of several books on astrology and owner of the immensely popular website Astrologyzone.com."
I'm writing about her today because I've been an avid reader of her site for years now and to be brutally honest -- she has been pretty SPOT on about things that have happened in my life. Almost down to exact dates and subject matter regarding love, career and money. No bullshitting you! I've even read a monthly forecast after the month has already passed and she was still SPOT on! This month, she has predicted some things that are completely on the track of being true...I'm not kidding!
For those of you out there who aren't believers in astrology, that of course is just fine. However, for those of you that are -- check out her website. In either case, I believe the Universe is far too mysterious and expansive to not believe there isn't some sort of connection between us, the stars and time. According to Susan, this is going to be a really awesome month for me -- I can't wait to see what shakes!
