(A bit fuzzy - but that is indeed Mr. Petty)
As a long-time passionate lover of music, I've had the honor and privilege of seeing 100's of artists perform all over the world, however, one has always seemed to escape me: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Either I didn't like the venue he was playing in, or the tickets were too expensive or the timing was never right -- but he's been on my list of artists to see live for years. Last week, two tickets fell onto my lap and even though I wasn't thrilled about the stadium venue, I figured it was long overdue and off we went! Even though we were seated in the upper balcony, Tom is a pro and they sounded great. We even got a rock-and-roll sky that evening to go with it!
