Great City Scapes

This little landscape area of downtown Minneapolis has been here for awhile and every time I've randomly driven by it, I've always appreciated the whimsical nature of it. I was on the bus today when we drove by it, so I was only able to capture this shot. It's very Humpty Dumpty-ish isn't it?

I searched online to see if I could find who was behind this landscaping/courtyard architecture, but no such luck! I even used Google's street view maps to see if I could zoom in to figure out what is housed inside the building this courtyard is in - but couldn't see anything. However, they did have a few more great photos of the courtyard below. But seriously, if anyone has more information about the person/people who designed this and who did the sculptures - I'd be really interested in knowing more!

Here's a Google satellite view of the courtyard.

  2. Thanks! I figured out that this is the U.S. Courthouse's courtyard.
