This isn't someone new to me, but it perhaps may be someone new to you? Film director, PES, uses everyday objects and makes stop-animation films with them. Really brilliant stuff. A lot of his stuff has been going around virally for some time now, but his work remains as some of my favorite short films. It's just so imaginative, clever and quite entertaining. My favorite film of his is " Western Spaghetti" and the other being "Rooftop Sex" (I can't look at an old orange 70's couch the same anymore).
