Today the annual hunt for the St. Paul Winter Carnival medallion ended as two dudes, who found the medallion in 2007 as well, found it again today in a block of ICE, in Lilydale Park near the Mississippi River. You gotta give it to them - the weather is unbearably cold, they had shovels and a garden hoe to pick through layers of ice. I only searched twice...but hey, at least I was at the right park before they revealed the exact location in today's 11th clue. I really could have used that money, but instead of braving the cold and digging in ice last night, I was drinking wine, watching fashion models and listening to rock and roll.
